THE INVENTOR'S KNEE BOARD ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS TOOLS NEEDED: -Diagonal Cutting Pliers -Superglue # I. ## II. D Slide the clip into the notch on the Knee Board. Add a drop of Superglue [location.] ### III. INSTALL THE METAL CLIPS ON TO THE BACK OF THE KNEE BOARD * Place one metal clip onto the back of the Knee Board. * Line up the hole of the clip to the hole in the Knee Board. * Insert the half of the rivet (that has a stem) through the hole of the clip and the Knee Board. * Take the rivet cap and slide it underneath the front side of the Knee Board. * Snap the rivet cap on to the rivet stem. SET THE RIVETS * Flip the Knee Board Over. * Place the curved disk of the anvil underneath the rivet, on the back side of the Knee Board. * Place the [stem] of the rivet setter onto the cap of the rivet on the front side of the Knee Board. * Gently? strike the end of the Rivet Setter with a rubber mallet. Don't hit the Rivet Setter with too much force or too little force. You should practice setting rivets before you get to this step. * This is the most dangerous part of the process, as you do risk damaging the Knee Board during this process. * Once the clips are riveted to the Knee Board, you're done! FINAL ASSEMBLY * Take your notebook and flip the cover over. * Slide the notebook into the Knee Board. * Take your Zebra F301 and push the clicker down, so that you can see the tip of the pen. * Remove the small plastic ball on the tip of the pen. * Use the pen to scribble onto a sheet of paper, until the ink begins to flow. * Push the clicker down to retract the tip of the pen. * Now, push the clicker part into the top of the pen holder. Depress the clicker half way. * Now, push the tip of the pen into the bottom of the pen holder until it clicks. Congratulations! You now have a working Inventor's Knee Board!
